News of the Week
- Wednesday, May 4th Star Wars Day, children are allowed to dress up as a favorite Star Wars character. There will be a costume contest at 9am for the best 3 costumes in the classroom, parents are invited.
- Friday, May 6th Picture Day and money should be given to Mrs. Resto by Thursday. Our Moving Up Ceremony Theme will be the Jungle so dress attire for pictures will be:
Girls: Summer Dress
Boys: Bermuda Shorts with a Polo Shirt
- This week will begin a new theme on "Insects." I am asking each student to bring in an empty egg carton for art activities on insects.

- This week children will continue working on numbers 16 to 19. Children will identify the number, number word, and create groups of objects for that number. Children will also be ordering numbers on a number line.
- Identify the following Uppercase and Lowercase Letters and the letter sound: Mm, Tt, Rr, Ss, Cc, Pp, Aa, Nn, Dd, Ll, Gg, Ii, Bb, Oo, Ee, Jj Ff, Xx, Hh, Qq, Kk, Uu, Ww, Vv.
- Identify and Read Sight Words: I, my, the, and, see, in, a, can, go, to, little, big, jump, for, find, make, away, help, look, play, funny, here, run, it, is, where, you, said.
- Identify Color Words: red, blue, yellow, purple, green, black, brown, white, orange.
