News of the Week
- Our Moving-Up Ceremony will be Wednesday, June 17th at 11:00am. Reception for parents after the ceremony.
Dress Attire for Moving-Up Ceremony:
Boys: Polo Shirt in any bright color and khaki shorts with sandals or sneakers.
Girls: Colorful Sun Dress with sandals or flat shoes.
- I want to also inform all families that only 3 people per child are allowed to attend the Moving-Up Ceremony.
End of Year Assessments:
- Tuesday, June 2nd children will be assessed on number recognition 1 - 20. Children will be asked to identify the numbers in order and in random order. Children will be expected to count groups of objects and write the number.
- Wednesday, June 3rd children will be assessed on identifying uppercase and lowercase letters. Children will be expected to identify the letters and its sound.
- Thursday, June 4th children will be assessed on identify beginning and ending sounds in words. Children will use pictures to identify the sounds.
- Monday, June 8th children will be assessed on identify rhyming words.
- Tuesday, June 9th children will be assessed on all Pre-K Dolch Sight words.
Review all letters and numbers
Uppercase and Lowercase: Mm, Tt, Rr, Ss, Pp, Cc, Aa, Nn, Dd, Gg, Ii, Oo, Kk, Bb, Ee, Vv, Ff, Hh, Qq, Jj, Ll, Uu, Ww, Xx, Yy and Zz.
Number Recognition: Identify numbers 0 - 20 in random order.

Dolch Sight Words: a, my, I, the, see, and, can, like, the, in, to, go, little, big, jump, we, for, look, make, is, it, down, up, away, find, play, funny, me, help, come, here, run, not, where, you.
Color Words: red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, black, brown, white.
Number Words:
one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
